The Chapel in the Valley is a dynamic, Spirit filled, independent Baptist Church. We currently have a congregation of about 30 adults and some children. We also facilitate a lot of children's activities (through Pre-school and Toddlers) throughout the week besides our normal Sunday services and firmly believe that our Christian walk is lived out day by day in the presence of the Lord.
We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God. We adhere to the authority of Scripture and seek to bring honour and glory to the name of Jesus Christ in all we do.
Our vision is:
- To be a Christ-centred, Bible-based church.
- To love, train and disciple all to their highest potential in Christ encouraging individual growth into whom He has envisioned us to be.
- To be mission-centred through evangelism and befriending.
- To bring teaching and knowledge concerning a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ to children and young people wherever possible.
- To be a safe place for people of all standings within the community to come and share their hurts, losses, life's difficulties and also their victories as they discover and live in God's will for their lives.
- To work closely in conjunction with other churches in the Corfe Mullen area to serve the local community in the best possible way.
